About KlickPint

Last updated: October 18, 2026
KlickPint is a free tool for saving videos from public Pinterest pins. It is built and run by one independent developer, stores none of the videos it downloads, and is supported by advertising.

What KlickPint is

KlickPint lets you paste the link to a public Pinterest pin and save its video to your phone or computer as an MP4. It works in the browser, with nothing to install and no account to create. It handles full pin links, short pin.it links and the share links copied from the Pinterest app.

Who makes it

KlickPint is built and maintained by Manikant Yadav, an independent full-stack developer based in New Delhi, India. It is one of several small web tools he runs himself; others include SmallPDF.us and Threads Downloader. His other work is on GitHub. KlickPint is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pinterest.

Why it exists

Pinterest has no download button for videos, and many of the tools that fill the gap are cluttered with pop-ups, cap you at low quality or push you to install something. KlickPint was built to be quick on a phone, to give you the best quality the pin offers, and to be clear about what it does with your data.

How it works

  1. You paste a pin link. The server first checks that it really is a Pinterest address, using a fixed list of allowed domains, and rejects anything else.
  2. It asks Pinterest for the same public data about that pin that the Pinterest website itself uses, and finds the video file.
  3. You see a preview and choose a quality. The file is then sent to your browser straight from Pinterest’s servers, or streamed through ours when needed, and is never written to disk.

Because it only reads public pin data, it cannot download from private boards or secret pins, and it will say so instead of failing silently. The how it works section and the guides explain each step in more detail.

Our standards

How the site is funded

KlickPint is free to use. Running it costs real money (servers, a domain, development time), which is covered by advertising from Google AdSense. Ads are served by Google, which may set its own cookies; the Privacy Policy explains this and how to opt out. We do not charge for downloads, sell your data or accept paid placement.

Corrections and feedback

If a guide is wrong or out of date, or the tool failed on a public pin it should have handled, tell us at support@klickpint.online or through the contact page. A person reads every message, and confirmed errors are corrected on the page.
