What actually happens when you paste a link
KlickPint's server asks Pinterest's own API for that pin's video data — the same data Pinterest uses to play the clip in your browser. We read the list of available qualities and show it to you. When you pick one, the file streams from Pinterest's CDN to your device — we never save the video itself. We do keep a lightweight record of the request (pin ID, timestamp, IP, whether it succeeded) for 30 days to catch abuse and debug Pinterest blocking us; full details are in our Privacy Policy.
